Diathermy can treat a wide range of skin blemishes easily and effectively. Many of these blemishes can be treated in just one session with minimal skin reaction and downtime. All treatments require a consultation beforehand and include complimentary aftercare product and follow up assessment 6 - 12 weeks after.
In some cases a patch test is required prior to treatment.

Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are common but harmless small soft skin growths. They tend to occur on the eyelid, neck, armpit, groin fold and under the breast. Almost everyone will develop a skin tag at some point in their lives.  They can be removed quickly and the results are instant.

 

Treatment price starts at £65 depending on the size and location of the tag. Sometimes several tags may be removed in one session and the price may increase to reflect this.

Milia Removal

Milia, or milk spots are small white lumps found under the surface of the skin.  They occur when Keratin (a protein) becomes trapped beneath the surface and are often in groups
 
The price for milia removal is generally between £30-60 and several milia can be removed in one session

Telangiectasia (red veins)

Small red veins, often on the face, can appear as we get older or as a result of our lifestyle. They can be treated using diathermy to improve  and even elimination their appearance depending on the cause. Several treatments are usually required with an improvement visible after each treatment.

Sebhorrheic Keratosis (senile warts)

Sebhorrhoeic Keratosis is a common skin growth often found in older adults. It usually has a scaly, scablike apperance and can be found on the face, chest, shoulders and back. 

Treatment with diathermy is very effective and usually only requires a single session.

Mole Reduction

Moles vary in size and colour and are common on the face and body. It is always advisable to consult with your doctor before mole reduction treatment.

 

 Moles respond extremely well to Advanced Blemish removal as the treatment is highly effective in reducing the size and visual appearance of the mole and if pigmented often lightning it too.

Hairs in moles

Hairs in moles can be thick and strong due to their healthy blood supply. It is advisable to consult with your doctor before treatment. Several seasons of electrolysis are usually required with the hairs becoming finer after each session, sometimes the size of the mole may reduce slightly after theses sessions.

Blood Spots

Blood spots (or cherry Angioma) are small benign vascular blemishes. They can vary in size from small dots to the size of a penny and are often red or brown. They are often found on the torso and face and can be easily removed or reduced.

 

Treatment price from £60 depending on  the size and amount of blood spots. Some larger spots may require more then one treatment.

Age Spots

Warts

Common warts, Plane warts, Verrucae and filiform warts can all be treated with diathermy. Topical treatments are available from the High street but if they are unsuccessful or if the wart is in a position which makes application difficult then diathermy is recommended.
